Proposal Guidelines to add the Musings books to offering:

  1. A cover letter introducing yourself and your book, and why you are interested in publishing with US.

How about including my entire answers including Cover Letter right here in one document?

A little about me…

I was born in Quebec, Canada and grew up in the picturesque Eastern Townships region of Quebec. I have been writing on my blog and online via Social Media Platforms and most particularly Facebook, specifically on my now Defunct (Deleted) page Shift-Happens, for nearly ten years now, where I elaborated about the Shift in Society and Consciousness now happening during these times of transition. I have diplomas in Administration and Environmental Studies, have spent many years as an activist in the environmental movement and also have spent many years studying the effects of the concentration of power on our present day paradigm. My first book Musings of a Natural Philosopher is a compendium of a variety of enlightened authors and thinkers and subjects to bring about a change in our present Service-to-Self Paradigm we are now in, and Book Deux is a continuation of these Musings and thoughts.

I have already published my books on Amazon (Paperback) and Kindle but would like to get out of the corporate entity of Amazon at least to a point, and love the fact that you retain your editorial independence to print books that might be outside of the current dominant paradigm and one of your author’s John Lamb Lash, has sections in both of my books.

  1. A short statement (less than 100 words) describing the book’s intention.

What this book represents for me is a continuation of my appreciation of some of the wisest who have lived amongst us and my continuing exploration of this reality that is not what it seems, or limited to what is perceived from our regular senses. We are so much more, and i hope that this book can allow you to start realizing this for yourselves!

  1. What is the word count of your manuscript? Both books have a little over 40000 words.

Is the manuscript complete? Both books have been self-published

If not, what is your goal completion date?  I would like to finish the trilogy for early Spring, March or April.

  1. Your qualifications in this area: education, books, or articles; what makes you a leader in this field? Tell us what your platform is. What do you do to make your work well known? Where have you connected with the readership of this book previously?

My main qualification is about ten years of writing and blogging and more specifically building my following on Facebook. I had 77 000 followers on my Shift-Happens page but lost it for some ego related issues, and Facebook did nothing to help me get it back, and now am just building my personal page with some 7000 followers and other pages and groups that I manage and/or moderate. I also have a blog on WordPress.

  1. A marketing plan describing how you will reach your book’s potential audience: interviews, journals, magazines, social media channels, etc. Who is the book for? List the most important publications that could excerpt or review your book. How will you help promote your book? What plans do you have to travel, to speak, to teach? What organizations are you counting on for their support?

As previously mentioned, my main marketing arena is Facebook, and Amazon for now. I have been offered some interviews on some indy sites or channels, and would like to provide more video content, and perhaps start either a full blown website, and/or a YouTube Channel also.

  1. Comparative or competitive titles: what are the three leading books to which your book could be compared? How does your book differ from them?

Where the Secret (Byrne) Meets the secret Teachings of all Ages (Manly P Hall) meets The Secret Doctrine (HP Blavatsky)!

So I would say the books is deeper and more profound than the Secret, and touches more universal laws than just the Law of Attraction (the focus of the Secret), and not as exhaustive as the other two books, but gives a reader a sampling of many thinkers of various disciplines and backgrounds, and gives the reader a better understanding of the underpinnings of the world.

  1. Table of contents with subheads listed; a chapter summary or synopsis is a plus.

  1. If you plan to include photographs or illustrations in your book, please provide examples and let us know how many you intend to use.

Each book has perhaps 20-40 images and many are memes created by me. Some pictures may be subject to copyright, and I am comfortable changing them, or asking for permission to include in book… Some of the pics will be added below in the 3 sample chapters…

  1. One to three sample chapters from the book. Send something that will best convey your writing style and the variety of the book’s content.

Here are 3 chapters from my first book. The 2nd book has more personal musings and original blogposts from yours truly.

  1. Bill Hicks (Posted on Mar-23-19)

William Melvin Hicks was an American stand-up comedian, social critic, satirist and musician. His material—encompassing a wide range of social issues including religion, politics, and philosophy—was controversial and often steeped in dark comedy. (Via Wiki).

This post will be going into my masters album…

“If you want to tell people the truth, you’d better make them laugh or they’ll kill you”.

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“The whole image is that eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions God’s infinite love. That’s the message we’re brought up with, isn’t it? Believe or die! Thank you, forgiving Lord, for all those options.”

― Bill Hicks

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Here’s Tom with the Weather.”

― Bill Hicks

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it’s real because that’s how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it’s very brightly colored, and it’s very loud, and its fun for a while.

Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, “Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?” And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, “Hey, don’t worry; don’t be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride.”

And we … kill those people. “Shut him up! I’ve got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real.” It’s just a ride.

But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that?

And let the demons run amok …

But it doesn’t matter, because it’s just a ride.

And we can change it any time we want. It’s only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love.

The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off.

The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here’s what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride.

Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.”

― Bill Hicks

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“They lie about marijuana. Tell you pot-smoking makes you unmotivated. Lie! When you’re high, you can do everything you normally do just as well — you just realize that it’s not worth the fucking effort. There is a difference.”

― Bill Hicks

MUSING: agreed so much of our actions are repetitive, mindless, useless actions… Why not marry your actions with your heart, perhaps the whole world would be happier and more sustainable. SS.

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“Watching television is like taking black spray paint to your third eye.”

― Bill Hicks

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“I’m glad mushrooms are against the law, because I took them one time, and you know what happened to me? I laid in a field of green grass for four hours going, “My God! I love everything.” Yeah, now if that isn’t a hazard to our country … how are we gonna justify arms dealing when we realize that we’re all one?”

― Bill Hicks

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“Folks, it’s time to evolve. That’s why we’re troubled. You know why our institutions are failing us, the church, the state, everything’s failing? It’s because, um – they’re no longer relevant. We’re supposed to keep evolving. Evolution did not end with us growing opposable thumbs. You do know that, right?”

― Bill Hicks

MUSING: Yep folks it’s time to wake up, and get off the kool aid, we are killing, raping, pillaging our mother now for the brand new iPhone X facial recognition spyware, wire tap, freedom buster, and we need to be slapped in the face until we wake the frak up!!! SS.

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“Go back to bed, America. Your government has figured out how it all transpired. Go back to bed, America. Your government is in control again. Here. Here’s American Gladiators. Watch this, shut up. Go back to bed, America. Here is American Gladiators. Here is 56 channels of it! Watch these pituitary retards bang their fucking skulls together and congratulate you on living in the land of freedom. Here you go, America! You are free to do what we tell you! You are free to do what we tell you!”

― Bill Hicks

20 years later, and we are still all fast asleep and watching the world burn… SS.

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“Why is marijuana against the law? It grows naturally upon our planet. Doesn’t the idea of making nature against the law seem to you a bit . . . unnatural?”

― Bill Hicks

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“I’m sorry if any of you are catholic. I’m not sorry if you’re offended, I’m actually just sorry by the fact that you’re catholic”

― Bill Hicks

I feel sorry if you follow religion, any of them, blindly without questioning its actual intentions. SS.

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“If you want to understand a society, take a good look at the drugs it uses. And what can this tell you about American culture? Well, look at the drugs we use. Except for pharmaceutical poison, there are essentially only two drugs that Western civilization tolerates: Caffeine from Monday to Friday to energize you enough to make you a productive member of society, and alcohol from Friday to Monday to keep you too stupid to figure out the prison that you are living in.”

MUSING: Now they are all over the Cannabis Industry and Bayer MonSatan want to take it over and monopolize this multi-billion-dollar industry, as we are all waking up to the fact that we don’t need drugs, vaccines, or any other product (poison) that these modern mobsters are peddling any longer, as Hypocrates, the founder of modern medicine said, Let Thy Food be Thy Medicine…(SS)

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

“We are the facilitators of our own creative evolution.”

― Bill Hicks, comedian and social critic (1961-1994)

✌️ 🤣 🗿 ✌️ 🤣 🗿

Hope you enjoyed today’s post on a true seeker, funnyman, philosopher and master…

Going in that album!!!

  1. John Trudell (posted on Jan-7-19)

✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

I am just a human being trying to make it in a world that is rapidly losing its understanding of being human.

-John Trudell (February 15, 1946 – December 8, 2015) was a Native American author, poet, actor, musician, and political activist. (Via Wiki)

More quotes from this wonderful poet to get to know and love and appreciate!

Hope you enjoy!

✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

“When one lives in a society where people can no longer rely on the institutions to tell them the truth, the truth must come from culture and art.”

MUSING: Thus this book, I have been pondering on these big questions for most of my life, and most likely in many of my past lives also, which I discuss near the end of this book with my Musings on Reincarnation… I’ve also been writing and sharing on my now defunct (and later deleted) Facebook Page Shift-Happens since about 2012 (Cliché I know, but it was about then… Dec-12-2012, lol…). I figured I would get it on paper (e-book for now) form, and immortalize some of these thoughts as well as thoughts of some of the true masters of humanity in my view!

✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

What I view life like is about energy. Everything is about energy – everything. We physically are little units of electrical energy, and we vibrate and project electromagnetic thought.

✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

We cannot change the political system, we cannot change the economic system, we cannot change the social system, until the people control the land, and then we take it out of the hands of that sick minority that chooses to pervert the meaning and the intention of humanity.

(Yellow Vest… ? SS)

✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

“It’s like there is this predator energy on this planet, and this predator energy feeds on the essence of the spirit.”

(Archons or other names…? SS)

✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

We have power… Our power isn’t in a political system, or a religious system, or in an economic system, or in a military system; these are authoritarian systems… they have power… but it’s not reality. The power of our intelligence, individually or collectively IS the power; this is the power that any industrial ruling class truly fears: clear coherent human beings.

✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

We must go beyond the arrogance of human rights. We must go beyond the ignorance of civil rights. We must step into the reality of natural rights because all of the natural world has a right to existence and we are only a small part of it. There can be no trade-off.

MUSING: (Deep ecology and my initial awakening (part 1) – My early life (and my first book project, put on hold now, check the 7 parts on my blog:[1])

✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

When I go around in America and I see the bulk of the white people, they do not feel oppressed; they feel powerless… and we understand the psychological genocide that they have already inflicted upon their own people.

✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️ ✌️

We will leave it at that for today’s lesson!!! 😉

Make sure you check my blogpost (book excerpt) above…

AND HERE’S MY THIRD SAMPLE CHAPTER AND ONE OF MY OWN BLOGPOST: (there are 3 original blogpost in Book Deux…)

  1. BONUS!: Respect Earth to Awaken

ON MARCH 4, 2017 (originally posted in 2013, and one of my first blogpost[2])

We are an important part of Nature, and not above her or outside of her as we so often seem to believe. If we want to survive and thrive on Earth for the long run, we, as a species need to realize this, and the sooner the better for all of us and all living creatures on our beautiful life-giving planet.

Our illusion of separateness is what’s causing most of our problems at this crucial moment in our history, we imagine us to be separated from the Earth, from the Forests, from the Animals, from the Plants, and also from each other; as we are divided by race, religion, nationality, skin color, by sexual preferences, by tastes, by class, by…well you get the picture. How quickly can we realize that we are all interconnected and what happens to any part of the whole happens to us all?

In Native American lore, Shamans would say that what we do to Nature, we do to ourselves…

GAIA: The Earth is alive but not so well

James Lovelock, pinned the popular term Gaia in the late 60s: via Wikipedia: the Gaia hypothesis proposes that living and non-living parts of the Earth form a complex interacting system that can be thought of as a single living organism (…), the hypothesis postulates that the biosphere has a regulatory effect on the Earth’s environment that acts to sustain life.

In Lovelock’s 2006 book, The Revenge of Gaia, he argues that the lack of respect humans have had for Gaia, through the damage done to rainforests and the reduction in planetary biodiversity, is testing Gaia’s capacity to minimize the effects of the addition of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This eliminates the planet’s negative feedbacks and increases the likelihood of homeostatic positive feedback potential associated with runaway global warming.

CLIMATE CHANGE: It’s real, and we are the main culprits. (see 43 footnote below…)

The David Suzuki Foundation website has a clear statement on this:

The debate is over about whether or not climate change is real. Irrefutable evidence from around the world – including extreme weather events, record temperatures, retreating glaciers, and rising sea levels – all point to the fact climate change is happening now and at rates much faster than previously thought.

The newest report from the UN now maintains that 95% of the worlds leading climate scientists now agree that Climate Change is partially caused by human activity.[3]

We do not have much time, as Nature is rebelling, we see it more and more with the frequency and strength of the natural disasters of the world, the Earthquakes, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Tsunamis, the Oceans rising, the species we are losing every minute, we are in the sixth great extinction event in the history of our planet, and the first where we have been the cause of the decline., …the pollution, the iniquities of the world…

‘Geological change usually takes thousands of years to happen but we are seeing the climate changing not just in our lifetimes but also year by year.’ – James Lovelock

We must wake up and realize that the Earth doesn’t need us for it’s survival, but we do, we need its oxygen, it’s water, it’s protection against harmful UV rays, to live, to thrive, to grow.

‘Nature is trying very hard to make us succeed, but nature does not depend on us. We are not the only experiment.’

  • R. Buckminster Fuller

Let’s realize that the Earth is our home, our mother, and needs us to help it now when it is at its tipping point!

Chief Seattle, chief of the Squamish:

“Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect. Man does not weave this web of life. He is merely a strand of it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.”

What does Nature mean to you?

That is the question we must ask today, is it just a commodity that we can price, frack, clear-cut, farm, mine, and exploit?

Or is it something more profound, something deeper, something that you feel deep in your heart, in your soul?

Do you feel connected at all?

If so, you are most likely awakening to your true higher self!

If you have no sense of this, it is a crucial step in your personal evolution. The incredible movie Avatar depicted this when the Na’vi attached their hair to a beast or the Tree of Life. Think of Our connection now being more in Wi-Fi, meaning the connection is directly with your heart!

“Earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books.”

  • John Lubbock

To conclude: The Earth has enough resources for everyone’s needs, but not everyone’s greed.

The goal of life is to make your heartbeat match the beat of the universe, to match your nature with Nature.

Well my first full review, and just wow!!!

I guess Jennifer enjoyed my book!

Here’s what she had to say:

“Musings of A Natural Philosopher {The Light Edition} By Stephane St-Pierre

This book is a profound contemplation with a thirst for knowledge. The author makes skillful and insightful uses of philosophers, academics, poets and peace-makers. The glow of the text is versatile yet charmingly augmented with musings garnished with personal insights. Throughout the book there are an assortment of breakout boxes and photos that either describe views from a historical icon, evidence to support a theory, brilliant ideas and reflection or relating bibliographical information about individuals who were propitious in shaping many forms of humanity. The construction of this book meshes well with those who are truth- seekers. The book is a breath of fresh air and it’s aura will invite you to open up conversations among friends, family or with oneself. A true waltz of positive energy. Extremely intelligent and witty. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s soul thrives on principles of truth and the connection we all share as human beings.

The author will pull at your heart strings by a simple thought engulfed in compassion and truth. There’s something to be said about heart- strings…. The Light Version is A true conformity with the collective, yet an individual onset of heart and spirit.

The author poses more than a basic guide; a step above the norm, he takes your hand skipping down a flowered path of awakening with a familiar feeling like looking at old family photos. A true gem! Enjoy❣️

Warm regards,”

Jennifer Oconnor

I will be looking into a couple of good publishers to publish my book, please do not wait 3 months if you are interested as I want to get these out soon!

Thanks so much and would love to discuss my plans with you shortly!

Stephane St-Pierre:

[3] My understanding of Climate Change, as well as the push to Tax Carbon has changed since I understood the true objectives of Power to control and keep us in debt.
